Food truck website: share your location and opening hours

A food truck rarely has the same daily routine as a fixed restaurant. For customers, the first question may not be “what is on the menu?” but “where are you today?” A small, easy-to-find web page can answer both and reduce the messages you receive during the lunch rush.

Publish each stop with its date

List your expected locations, days and service windows. Give a recognisable landmark for every stop, such as the market entrance or a particular side of the car park. If you are attending a festival, separate that one-off event from your usual schedule. “Somewhere in town” is not useful enough.

Keep the menu realistic

Show a readable selection of dishes, current prices and relevant allergen information in accordance with local requirements. Explain when dishes depend on supplies. If you accept pre-orders, tell visitors which channel to use and what happens after they order. Avoid promising availability you cannot guarantee.

Prepare for changes

Bad weather, a vehicle issue or a private event may change your plans. Update the page as soon as possible and direct followers to it from social posts. A QR code printed on packaging can point to the same updateable page instead of an outdated picture of your menu.

Before each service

  • Today's location and hours are correct.
  • The meeting point is easy to identify.
  • Menu and prices are current.
  • Allergen details are available.
  • Ordering or contact links work.
